Home but not Unchanged
This week I learned that it is harder to come home from a mission than I thought it would be. Maybe it is good that I didn't worry about it that much when I was out though. Because as Jesus says in Matthew 6:34 "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof" and we should deal with the problems as they come and not look into the future and try to deal with those problems as well when it is impossible. One thing that missionaries don't and probably won't understand while on their missions is how complex and confusing daily decisions can be when you are exposed to all of the world's distractions. But one thing I realized while talking to a friend is that we cannot fulfil the purpose of life while on a mission. We came to the earth to experience the difficult situations and decisions that this life would provide. As a missionary a lot of those distractions are stripped away and the decisions are simplified to help us focus and center ourselves. But there comes a ti
